I have a Talk500 Vodacom package with Autopage. They want me to pay in R2300 for a HTC Magic. Is this the going rate on all other service providers or are they crazy?

do i then have to wait for the full 24 months to expire? they say it's only in June, although it will be 24 months when i upgrade in Feb

If they say June, then it's June. Speak with another dealer, they MUST be able to give you a better deal.

Here is a secret
Never ever upgrade.
The prices are insane.
So, wait for 24 months, just before phone them and tell them u want a negiotiated price, it will be 2k less.
Autopage i feel is a good company (comparing to SA standards) and prices are competitve.
But always follow the above rule.

U probably did an upgrade before. So thats y its in June yet its 24 months since yr last upgrade.
