Anyone know accurate this tool is?
My wife had a pretty bad accident last Wednesday, shes ok, just shaken up and a few bruises and a slightly fractured nose from the airbag (was not her fault, CCTV footage shows the other driver was at fault), im pretty sure the insurance will be writing it off. The car is insured at Retail value. So according to the vin number, the autotrader tool says its valued between R88285 and R117664 with an estimate of R99840 which i assume is the mid way point for their scale. Its a 2013 Hyundai I10 1.1GLS/Motion and it had under 120k on the clock, full service history etc, car was looked after and in damn good condition.
Id like to try start looking around at whats available but id like to know what sort of deposit we will have so i can start budgeting.
