AutoTrader shutting down magazine

AutoTrader has announced that, after 25 years, it will say goodbye to its print magazine.

The transition feels rushed, there are still many users i am sure who would rather have the magazine than buy data just to browse the site.

What do you guys think?

Is having 2 numbers a definitive way of knowing where the demand comes from?

Perhaps an opportunity for a new or existing publication to capture the Autotrader market ? hmm

magazines are good for office receptions and hotel lobbies or such things. I think they shouldn't shut it down completely but rather provide on an order basis only.

I've been using the Autotrader website for years, I didn't even know they publish a magazine.

I think they will survive without the combined 200 sales from the Free State and Eastern Cape farm towns..
