Wireless AV is never a good idea. Prone to all kinds of interference. Microwaves, cordless phones, transformers for low voltage lighting etc. Also, thick walls in old houses can be a problem. The company I work for also sell wireless AV and HD solutions, but I always advise people to cable it.
