AV program that repaires infected files

Is there such a thing .Is there not a virus program that repairs infected files instead of deleting or quarantining them.I am sick of this imho.

I heard good things about drweb and used it a few times with great success but its a pain to download new versions every time just to use this program

it depends on the type of infection and the type of file that it infects.

But usually when I have that severe of an infection I reformat my computer and re-install all my programs anyway. I don't like leaving the risk of still having that virus on my system somewhere.

I cannot understand how you get infected?

I have not had a virus in a very long time (10yrs+). For the last 5yrs though I have used mostly linux though but I still boot in to a XP partition for gaming occasionally.

My pc is not infected and has never been for a long time.Its usually clients pc's that needs repairing and sometimes i battle with ****ty stuff
