Hi All,

Netflix via UnoTelly has been working well until i installed Avast Security. How do i ensure that the DNS is not hijacked by avast?

when i do a nslookup setupcheckapi.unotelly.com i get server Unknown with non Unotelly IP address 209.222.12.53. There must be a way to unshield UnoTelly on Avast, otherwise have to uninstall, of which the license is new

I use AVAST! at hoem and never had this issue.

You could enter the Unotelly as an exception and see if that works.

I've encountered this issue before, just not with the same setup as yours. I don't think it's intended, reinstalling avast fixed my issue.

if you just next, next, nexted through the install you would have installed/added the 'safedns' feature.
Yes it does hijack your dns, it is turn-offable from the interface, somewhere in there.

Do you have secureline VPN on? Try turning it off.
Is this a setting on router?
