This morning I woke up to the fact that I have used just under I Gig of data on my Iphone 7 Plus. Called Vodacom and it was confirmed that they activated the 1 Gig on the 1st July as per my contract but it was gobbled up by an Avast Update on the 2nd July. Before this morning Avast was not in my vocab with regards to my iphone. I do not use my phone as a hotspot! Looking here for help to solve the mystery for closure why my almost 1 Gig disappeared in a day and a bit to prevent it from happening again. I can’t find Avast anywhere on my iphone to disable it from future automatic updates! What would you do if you lost almost a Gig of data in a day and a bit to Avast.
