I joined them in January 2021.

The most useless ISP I've ever came across.

They do now tend to ANY complaints, they lie and their employees are rude.

I left rain 5G for fibre. But i had less issues with Rain and that's the sad part.

Considering going back to Rain 5G.

Avoid them at all costs. I've researched them alot today on facebook, twitter, downdetector and can see thousands of complaints each day.

Why not use another ISP?
Been looking at you guys (cool ideas) last night but don't know what issues MFN will give me if i want to change. They don't reply to my emails or calls. We only have metrofibre in our complex. Openserve still busy with their fibre

Had a friend on Metro with one of their ISPs had endless issues where every evening during peak hours her ping would go from 5ms to 90... she switched to CISP after I told her the network wasn't restricted to certain ISPs which they told her and she's had 0 issues since...

After me driving to their offices today, my stuff is up and running. Had our complex involved also. Will be switching to CI

I agree, avoid completely.
You would have to block them when they start installing in your street.
Their machines will throw gravel everywhere. Also the paving inside the yard and grass. They won't bother to clean that up.
Then they will dig through your paving and leave it looking very bad.
They kept throwing everything they dig up and everything else they use in the driveway so that we could not use it. One of the installers opened the manhole with a cable cutter so now it is damaged and stands up. The concrete around the manhole looks terrible not what you would expect it to look like. If you complain then they just redo it shoddy again. Now to install they expect to dig up the paving further. There is just no chance. One of the contractors reckons they have permission from the municipaly and his attitude is they can do what they like. They simply downplay the complaints. I saw the same in Record, people complain and they simply downplay it.

I completely understand your frustration. I suggest that you contact Metrofibre directly to sort this out, if that fails threaten them with Small Claims Court, which ought to get them moving.

However, just take note that you can be charged criminally if you attempt to block them from trenching and installing the infrastructure. This is in terms of the Electronic Communications Act.
