Hi Guys.

I know this thread should be in the free windows software section, but it is not only windows platform, and there are so many people on this forum looking for different types of software, so I would appreciate it if the Mods don't move this ... maybe make it a topic that stays at the top ... because I have not been able to find a better website.

Everything on this site is freeware or opensource, not one shareware thing anywhere ... some software is not for commercial use, but is not shareware.

Ya, but on softpedia, they have demo's and shareware. Freewarefiles is purely free full version software ... loads of it.

You can change the search criteria to freeware though

The other reason I like softpedia is because they check all their software for spyware/malware etc.

Ya, I'm joined to the newsletter ... used to get it all the time ... now I hardly do ... I love that site ... they have everything that anyone could possibly need
