Hey lads

Awesome is a new guild thats an offbreak from vasbyt. Vasbyt was never going anywhere with 3 active members and the previous GM not giving us the password etc. So it kind of made no sense to continue with it.
The 3 active members have now created Awesome. We are on Lightbringer(EU) still keeping with the same idea as vasbyt, going through all classic content and upwards. No race to lvl80 just a fun guild.
We are recruiting atm but we are not looking for random alts who log every 12 days. Sure our founding member has a main on TH but atleast he gives some time towards the guild and his alt.

We have our tabard and gbank and all that shiz but now just looking for fun and decent people to play with.

<Awesome> are still looking for some players, all levels, all classes. We have about 9 members now and instance and pvp together quite alot. Everyone is willing to help lowbies out with boosting and what not, the guild bank has items which will help most players such as bags, mats, items etc.. I think - yea, something funny or something like that
I open the thread, and lo and behold, it's advertising for a WoW guild.

If the thread title had been : New Guild <Awesome> Looking for recruits on Lightbringer(EU); well, then I would not have felt like you tried to trick me into entering your thread.

This is why I asked if this thread is spam, cos it sure as heck felt like spam when I realised what it was about.

Don't worry about stoke, he just don't know what to post in this section of the forum There are no separate forum for Guild recruitment stuff so it needs to be done somewhere...

Sorry for not naming the thread correctly but usually when u see <#####> in wow terms it normally refers to a guild.

Next time ill name the thread "<Awesome> are a new guild on lightbringer looking for recruits who are cool and want casual raiding with some good fun people and are in no rush to lvl to 80" So you have a full description on what its about.

Na, WoW is on hold for foreva.

I stopped playing (and paying) when they refused to fix a quest that was borked. Their response was: Our developers are working on it. I responded with, I want a refund. They responded with: We have a no refunds policy. I responded with I have a no work no pay policy.

Fin.

hahah, all that over 1 quest alrighty. I just found lately that sometimes u cant get into instances. Just chirps "Instance is currently unavailable". That grates me alot.

If they had refunded my an amount for the 3 days I wasted trying valiantly to get them to respond to me and of course, trying to complete that quest, i.e. If they had treated me like a paying customer that had not gotten what he is paying for, then I would have been happy.

Their approach is extremely one-sided. You keep paying, we do whatever we wish.

That is not acceptable, simply because you are expected to pay. If they did not expect me to pay for a non-working feature, I'd be happy, so long as there were not too many non working features.

Now I have a 70 rogue and a 64 warlock, and I really am not going to haul out my credit card, no matter how much I love those 2 characters.

Which quest for interests sake?

There aren't a lot of quests that are bugged so badly that you cannot complete them and there is normally a workaround.

normally with gather quests I found the items stops spawning. Happened twice now. Had to abandon and re-acquire the quest to complete it

Even if it does happen that one quest is bugged, I log a ticket, abandon the quest and just move on with others. This is do so the next person running into this quest will not have the same problem. There is 1000's and 1000's of quests out there even 500 broken quests in the whole game should not hold you back
