So after the dissapointment that is Diablo 3 and finally finding out that some of my cousins actually play WoW I've kinda decided to give it a bash again.

I would like some advice though from you current players on what class to go with. I haven't played in 15 months (basically did a month of Cataclysm and called it) so I'll be relearning a lot with all the changes.

At my disposal I have:

85 Priest
2 85 Paladin's
85 Hunter
80 Priest
80 Mage
57 Paladin

I doubt I'll be joining a raiding guild again and basically just want to have fun. Was thinking of going shadow with the 85 priest and only doing DPS. I've spent more than enough time keeping others alive.

Have about 200k in gold available to buy BOE's and get up to scratch again as well as 10-30 stacks of each cata resource so setting up shouldn't be easy.

Advice will be appreciated.

I'd also go with the Priest if I were in your position :)

Priests are a lot of fun and do a fair amount of damage. You can still raid with LFR, which is basically group finder for raids (like instances).

So welcome back! :)

I'll say Priest also. Althou my main has always been my druid, my priest was always a close 2nd and did all the content also

I gave up on giving up WoW. I just take occasional breaks. I'll quit WoW completely when Blizzard takes the servers offline or I die, whichever comes first.

Shadow priest is a lot of fun, nice simple rotation and does excellent dps if you know what you're doing. With the right spec and rotation, i often find i'm beating folks in better gear and even outhealing some clueless healers in LFRetards ;)

Yea SP or any caster class, we have more than enough melee for some reason, and its all DKs, Rogues and Pallies
