Axxess APN, Mobile Data and Mobile Tethering Issues

I have a Samsung Galaxy J5

When i use my ordinary MTN pre-paid sim, i do not struggle to use my cellphone's tethering and hotspot feature.

But when i put my axxess data sim, my tethering refuses to connect, and when it does, it gives a limited connection.

On the phone the data works fine, but once tethered it will not. I have tried to connect to 7 other devices with no luck.

Also, when i remove the axxess sim, and put the MTN prepaid, then put the axxess sim back in the phone, i struggle to even get internet connection.

First the APN keeps reverting back to the MTN Data APN on restart. After maybe 5 or 7 restarts, it does not revert, but will not pick a default APN. Even if i choose, it does not do anything, and i have to restart several times, and eventually i leave it for maybe 15mins then it connects.

I use the following APN settintgs

Name: ax
APN: yourmobile
Data bearer: unspecified

(Note: the line is LTE enabled, but if pick LTE as a data bearer, i don't get internet at all.

Any help?

I have tested the sim with 7 other devices, different one's. Same issues.

SOLVED

Solution is to go on APN Type

Add the following line *add text inside the brackets only* = (default, dun)

No response from axxess lady, or anyone, had to figure this out on the own!

This is not something that normally occurs, this was the first time The Axxesslady heard of something like this.
