Axxess Best ISP - How?

Hi All,

I am wondering how Axxess keep getting voted best ISP. Since I moved to them I have had nothing but problems. Some of it may be Telkom but previous ISP's I have been with have always somehow managed to get Telkom issues resolved in a reasonable amount of time. Strangely, the last issue I had only got resolved when I called Telkom myself, and it looks like I'm going to have to do that again. Despite, Telkom's issues, calls logged on their portal typically only get responded to the next day if your lucky (for DSL and for Hosting) and I have had at least one occasion where I have been blatantly lied to by their support staff.

I should have stayed with Crystal. Only moved because I was considering signing up to the Axxess reseller programme. Thank goodness I decided to test them first.

From the end of this month it's bye bye Axxess
 
ISPs don't really have any power over Telkom/Openserve technicians.
 
I agree. I've just found thing's much worse since I moved to Axxess.
 
I think it really depends where you are, because since I moved to Axxess it has been the best move ever. I had issue and Telkom called me a day later and the problem was resolved I have not been offline once.
 
I can also not complain too much about Axxess. Longest my line has been down because of a Telkom fault is 36 hours, and that was when Telkom upgraded over a weekend. Had a recent spat with them regarding my bill, but that got sorted out in less than 6 hours, to my total satisfaction.

She is probably the best person to contact.
