Axxess DOWN - Alternatives

Currently Axxess internet is down, can anybody recommend a quick and easy way to get a prepaid account until it is fixed. Obviously not Axxess or MTN,

Yes you can get a free Webafrica,Openweb or Gridhost account. All 3 free and you can signup to all 3 if you want.

The gateway is down. Switch to another ISP excl Axxess.

I am not looking for free but a reasonable pre-paid rate while Axxess is down.

I have also found that Afrihost gives errors when i try and sign up.

Https seems to work, so those pages are probably using secure connections. Regular http is down.

Funny thing.

Can only acess some sites via FNB account e.g.

MyBB = no
Facebook = yes
News 24 = no

Internet totally screwed as if power failures weren't enough.

Web africa is your only other choice.

You have Afrihost/Axess, Web Africa or Telkom, the other ISP's is not worth mentioning.

Since your Axxess account is borked chances are AF will do the same. That leaves you with Telkom or Web Africa.
