Anyone have any experience with this package ?

I just want to know what anyone's experience is, and regarding the whole throttling issue.
How much do you usually use before being throttled. ? How bad is the throttling ?

I am a market trader and my software is very bandwidth intensive.

I used Axxess for a while and got throttled very quickly. The period up to the throttling was smooth. Throttling is very severe.
Maybe try the new Telkom packages that are also uncapped, but I'm told they aren't throttled nearly as much as they claim.

I would recommend a business account if this is what you do for a living, otherwise if you can't afford that I would recommend OpenWeb Gold (closest thing to business quality account imo).

I would suggest if you decide to use that IS based uncapped to atleast save some money by getting it here

They only charge R418 for the exact same account axxess charges R495.

R77 is kind of a lot of money if you take it monthly....

well i went for the axxess package. is there a way to know or measure when throttling begins ? I've asked axxess and they don't know, except to tell me if i fall into the bracket of the most used, i get throttled. Which doesn't help much.

i'd just like to know for the purposes of exercising control over the usage of our adsl.
