Hey peeps does your threshold "roll" into the new month? Mine seems to have done so, as i am still limited. Not that it makes a lot of difference but seems a bit cheap of IS/Axxess to do this.

end of month does NOT reset threshold.

its stated quite clearly in their TOS

Ah ok seems daft, but i guess you get bandwidth roll over so now you get cap roll over.
Anyway prehaps we should all cancel and then reactivate the service the next month. The schlep it causes should soon see them change.

Not trying to be funny, but a rolling threshold is exactly that....rolling. It's quite clearly stated that the rolling threshold is for x number of days. The fact that those x number of days happen to span the end of one month and the beginning of another is completely irrelevent.

Yes, that caught me out a few times as well when I first had an uncapped account months ago. hehe, you look forward to the 1st only to stay capped :)

There is no cap though. Your speed is throttled, but there is no cap.

The throttled speeds are a bugger though, especially on the lower packages like mine (express+ 384 limited to 192) but I'm in it for the full line speed after hours. However, I understand where they are coming from. They provide uncapped service, and it's not viable for them to give anyone free reign, as they still purchase only x amount of international bandwidth... The rolling threshold is a measure put in place for a very good reason, if all the accounts would be "opened" on the first of every month, imagine the spike in the bandwidth usage of the ISP. It's all business I suppose. And in this country, I'm more than happy to get what I can...

Interesting what you say, my take on its is slighlty different, if i was unthrottled at the beginning of the month i may try to slow my usage to remain unthrottled for awhile, as it is at the moment i have no incentive to stop me from downloading.
