Well just plus 3 weeks with no internet---Fibre supplier is Zoom. Axxess & Zoom make very strange bedfellows. But i pay Axxess & think they should be more pro-active & not take a back seat as they've done. They close tickets within 48 hours not checking if the problem is resolved.Yes ,tey apologise for what i'm going through but those apologies mean nothing after 3 weeks.

Anybody can offer any solutions?
Are u having a similar problem with incorrect IP addresses?

I had the same issue when I was with Axxess and Zoom fibre. Always issues with incorrect IP address, especially after loadshedding.

Everytime I had to phone support to sort it out. They usually said the problem was on the side of Zoom.

In the end I had enough and moved to Afrihost and Openserve. I haven't experienced any issues since moving to Afrihost.

Zoom calls me at least once a month to try and convince me to use their fibre again. They told me to just use a different ISP.

Good Day @flaker007

Could you please send us your contact details as well as your Axxess account number via DMs so that we can escalate this matter for you?
after some 23/4 days Thabo, a well experienced technician from Zoom came to my residence & finally sorted.
I've closed the ticket with Axxess. i understand that there was this problem that was experienced by other KZN users as well. tThe business of incorrect IP addresses

Captain Axxess,Please help. Today i receive a proforma invoice for next months service of fibre. I query with accounts as to the credit due to me nil service over the 23/ or so days which can be verified on Axxess's records. I'm told in no uncertain terms that credits are not given as the terms & conditions say that the dervices are provided at best service possible or something to that effect..So i'm angry & but that's not what i got, there was no service for plus 3 weeks & if Axxess supplied "best service" i would have been sorted in a few days. Surely i'm entitled to a credit for non-provision of fibre service to myself.

@ Captain Axxess, how do i send u my account number?

Rather move to another isp if they don't budge.. They can't hide behind terms&conditions every time.. If they can see that it was their problem they shouldn't bill u for that period

I’ve been having issues since the 12 December. Granted OpenServe did fiddle in the complex and I thought it was them. Luckily I was also on leave over 3 weeks in December. OpenServe was really good with me and allowed me to use some of their test accounts because they really felt sorry for me. Internet working 100% over the few days and back to using my Axxess account it takes forever to load any page (if it will even load). I’m on a 500mb line. My question is how did you know it was an incorrect IP assigned? One of my colleagues mentioned this week that he had that problem but I guessed if it were the same case for me…,surely they would have picked this up. I’m still struggling and they are still pointing at OpenServe as the problem. I’m literally going to go insane with this because I work from home and need to now relocate myself to get some kind of connection.

My internet has been down for 15 days now and Axxess could not give a rat's ass. They have sent a Vuma technician to my house because they were too lazy to listen to me explain the fault. All the light were green on the box which means it is not a line fault but a network fault. Now I am almost 100% certain before this is all over they will send another technician to my house in the week as their fault solving is rather predictable.
Now one would think that in 15 days they surely could fix a network issue, and Vuma claimed they did. They let me know with an sms that my fault was repaired despite me telling them it was not they continued to insist the problem now was one that resided with my ISP. In the last 90 days I have been without internet for a whopping 32 days. In January I only had internet for 20 days. The only think that seems to work well at Axxess is the billing system because I am debited every month on time, with or without internet. My fault number, the one that is closed is ISP- 1057484 it is the only fault number I have. Today I was phoned by Vumatel confirming a technician would be coming to my house to replace the ONT. This despite them giving my last one the all clear less than nine days ago when their last technician visited. Now all I get from Axxess is 'We have escalated it to Vumatel.' After 14 days of phoning my ISP I told them to phone me instead when they have any news. I cannot waste anymore time and money chasing an ISP
