Two of us surf on a 384 uncapped line. I'm by far the heavier user of the two, but still don't come anywhere near the leech category some of us on here are part of.
The last three months we have been throttled (first time).
I'm told this is because we're in the top 20% of downloaders or some such daft excuse. WE'RE ON 384, FFS!
I updated someone's Vista laptop the other week and just that chewed over 1.2 Gb!
In all the time we've been with Axxess I have yet to get a grip on how their control panel works.
Note: I reeeeally miss the WA panel.
How do I check our usage?
Bandwidth control in this country is absurd. What motivation is there for us to upgrade to a bigger line? We'll reach the cap even quicker. Can a 'heavy' 384 user REALLY affect the network?
Shelling out a lot more for OpenWeb's package, which is uncapped, unthrottled, unBSed, un-this and un-that is not really possible for us atm either.
EDIT: Just seen the new control panel...
Only slightly easier to understand, but it doesn't help if there is no usage data to view whilst I'm being throttled for unknown reasons.
