Axxess has a promotion where you can win a iPad if you transfer over your ADSL line to them and get reduced costs.

I'm already using Axxess as my ISP so I figured why not and did the transfer.

I was then promptly billed for R23.16 because my ADSL line rental is now by Axxess, I complained bitterly about this because I've now effectively paid twice for my ADSL line rental. To which they replied that Telkom will credit me on my next invoice.

Roll on June and I pay the full R359 for ADSL line rental for the period of June to Axxess.

I get an email today from Telkom:

Dear Jason Silva,

Telkom Online Bill Alert : Please be advised that your account, xxxxxxxx, is now available for viewing and balance is R0 as at 2012-06-12. Logon to http://www.telkom.co.za/eservices to view this account online.

Firstly, I was in credit to Telkom at an amount of R552.97.

What has happened here is that Telkom has billed me for Voice Line Rental AND ADSL Line Rental. I'm only supposed to be billed for Voice Line Rental and be Credited R23.16. None of which has happened.

The Axxess ad clearly states:
We deal with Telkom

What am I supposed to assume other than Axxess is completely and utterly incompetent and trying to pilfer money from clients?

Firstly I'd remove your personal details from a public forum post.

Seems odd that you don't lay any of the blame with Telkom on this, it's clearly their error. Or maybe get Axxess onto Telkom?

kayvee - I personally do not care who is to blame for this as this is not my problem.

The Axxess ad clearly states they deal with Telkom:

Point is, Axxess must fix this, it's their mess up. I've been complaining to them but they just keep on passing the buck saying: Telkom will credit you. Which clearly Telkom has not.

It's as if Axxess just said they have transferred my line and then charge me for it, but in the mean time it's still with Telkom.

Greed and corruption, plain and simple.

Relax, Telkom will send you another (final) account. If it is in credit they have an automated refund system and you will be refunded.

I cant. I've already received two bills (which I had to pay for) from Telkom and not once have I been credited.
