Axxess local only changed to IS?

I've been splitting international + local between axxess local only and afrihost 29/gb for a while now and axxess always routed via SAIX and afrihost of course via IS but now I notice my axxess dsl is on IS

Anyone else finding this?

I noticed that axxess changed to IS last month for the local only accounts, either way it has still been working pretty smoothly for me...

What a shame SAIX is so much faster for me

If this is true then they are ripping the people off. Cause IS local bandwidth costs R130 for 30GB. Now they are making money.

Probably few people actually care (I do), is using IS any worse for local gaming?

Actually i find IS bandwidth to be better for gaming. they have more up links than telkom giving lower latency.

I use a telkom account. Get ping of 50-60ms to SGS. SO its on networks the whole time. But the same connection and server with a IS based account gives me ping times of 20-30ms
