Capped clients get free uncapped "nightsurfer" from midnight to 6AM with Axxess. My question is, does one need to have data available to get access? i.e. When your cap is reached, can you still download for free from midnight to 6AM?

Second question, how accurate is their swith-over from capped account, to the uncapped account?? Do you start using "their" uncapped data at exactly midnight and does it stop at exactly 6AM?

The support told me telephonically you still get access to the midnight-6AM data, but via e-mail that you don't. Email guy was right.

Suppose I will have to cancel with Axxess and move along to Crystal Web. Let's hope they at least know ass from elbow.

Hi ambroseg1, yes you need to have data available in order to get a free midnight data. The switch over is very accurate as you will start using your free midnght data. DSL/Fibre accounting packets are delivered to us once an hour. If the hourly update packet falls within the hours of 12am to 6am, the data between those hours will be zero rated.

Sorry for resurrecting a year old thread--I have tried searching for the answer to this question on Axxess website but was not successful. I want to ask a related question and hope you can answer:
Does the after hours data only work between 12 am and 6am every day of week--or do Saturdays and Sundays account for different times--like after hours is zero rated all day Sat and All day Sunday??
