I was keen on signing up for the 12GB package. The rollover thing looks promising. Anyone got speedtests and how does this rollover thing work? Do I dip into next months data when I run out or what? How is ping (gaming) as I am still waiting for ADSL.
 
Backbone is MTN. So look up your MTN reception. Get a sim. Load 100MB and play around.
 
Yeah get a MTN prepaid LTE sim @ checkers for R0.99 and test 3G and LTE speeds. If it is good then you got a idea how Axxess data will be.
 
I used AfriHost at my old place, Telkoms coverage was horrible, I got full 5 bars signal, no fading, good signal quality and strength, with an average ping of about 80-100 in Dota (Always lags) and about 40-50 on CPT BF4 server and around 80-90 on JHB servers. The speeds averaged at about 450kb/s-600kb/s. So I guess that it might be a better option than what I have now.
 
I ordered my Axxess Mobile SIM on Friday morning to take advantage of their 12Gb + 12Gb deal.
Pro rata money was debited from my card and received welcome letter with Control Panel login details.
I will wait and see when SIM arrives and report back on their service and offering.
I'm in the Cape Town CBD.

Shot, will wait for your reply. Going to sign up in the meantime as I need something to bridge me through until my ADSL gets installed.
 
I'm trying to sign up on their website now, but it keeps asking me to insert my details. It's just stuck on (profileupdate.php) page, submitted my address etc a few times now but it just doesn't want to work. Axxess rep please help. No problems my side (Internet, Browser, PC, working fine.)
 
Had some issues when moving from the Afrihost APN to the Axxess one. Once that got sorted, no problems. Speeds are as good as it would be on straight-MTN. 40-80ms pings with 3/5-Bars H+ coverage.

Epic! I can see they may be better than my current ISP.
