Hi all,

I've got the MTN 30GB package through axxess, the problem is I can't get it to work on my new router. I got the Huawei B311-AS. I phoned through to axxess support and put in the APN settings as instructed.

AP settings:
Profile name: axxess
APN: ws.axxess.swa

(i also tried ws.axxess.fwa which I found online on axxess's site)

The technician told me to keep the username and password field blank but whenever I try save it automatically puts a password there. I'm not sure to stop it automatically putting in a password when I keep deleting it. Not sure if this is the problem.

I've tried restarting the router several times. It says "Profile Invalid" when I try log on.

Hi there, The reason it isn't connecting is that the router you have is not compatible with the service. In some cases, it may show some sort of connection but it won't stay. There are only 4 approved routers that are compatible with the MTN LTE service:

Huawei B525
Huawei B612
Huawei B618
ZTE MF286C

Thanks for that. Found out yesterday and got B612 but same issue spent over 1 hour with support. Support did their best but am now cancelling service. Wasted 6 hours on this process. Still waiting for response from accounts but hoping to just be done with it.

Not sure if you keen to try something, if you are then try the APN as yourmobile all small no spaces.

Your SIM card is locked to the incorrect router (Huawei B311), so you need to phone support to unlock the SIM from the router. Once done, you'll be able to put the SIM in the correct supported router, fill in APN settings, reboot, and you should be online.

(I've been through this exercise when I was told I could use a Huawei B535 router..)

So is the B535 incompatible?
