Axxess Pro-rata upgrade

I was on a 25Gig contract that came with extra 25Gigs any time data. The data finished on the 17th of July and I decided to upgrade to a 50Gig contract thinking it would come as 50Gig plus 50Gig anytime. The 17th is next to half the month so I expected almost half of the new 50gig maybe 18Gigs. I got nothing and i phoned Axxess and the consultant said it takes 2hrs ti get the data allocated. I Phoned in again and consultant said I won't get anything because I already used 50gigs for the month on the old contract. So why did I have to pay R100 for prorata on the new contract? I would have thought I would get some pro rated data on the upgrade. This was also confirmed by one their consultants who said she expects me to get roughly 15Gig to complete the month. Currently with ombudsman I will update on how that is going. But i will certainly take this all the way to the highest court.
