Axxess!!!!!!-SLOW

Hi there
Maybe someone here can help me better as the Axxess techinicians!! I have a 1 meg uncapped account express.
I have been connected from 1/02/2012 and have downloaded 12 gig so far. Is this amount high for 5 days.
I can hardly browse for two days now, my speed is around 20-30kb/ps. I started downloading torrents, and that runs at 8 kb/ps. Anyway, I bought the telkom thing for the noise on the line as they suggested today, but nothing is better. The technician said that I must try different routers (mine is Marconi Telkom router-6 years old)So I called my neighbour who has uncapped axxess aswell, and with his router I still get 20kb/ps. Now I want to know.....
1)If I cancel my Axxess, and move to Mweb, will it be better
2)Is it telkom problem with the line
3)Will a faster router give me better speeds??

I don't think it's Axxess. Plenty of us at Openweb on different backbones are having issues with international and local. Think it's a Telkom fault.

Cannot route google.co.za (196.23.168.147) via the following:
Axxess Local Plus account (gateway 196.209.0.1)
but can route via Afrihost account (gateway 196.210.128.1)


Is this just me ?

My telkom uncapped is beyond pathetic, my dloads are going at... 5kb/s. ****ing dialup, worst decision ever going with telkom uncapped.

There's currently a Telkom fault, that OW told me about.
I'm having the same problem whether I use my OW account or my Afrihost 1GB account.
