I'm not sure if it's just me, but I've been tweeting and emailing axxess and they take at least a day or so to get back to me. Other than that, they haven't even got a system to send out tickets after emailing support (I like afrihosts system). I mean, on the website it says 24/7 support, ain't true. Even mail with a critical escalation hasn't been responded to!

Same here.

I'm trying to track my installation and not much is happening.

Hi, apologies for the inconvenience. Please email your account details to [email protected] so we can look into it. Thank you

Why don't Axxess have a section*on these forums, so much easier for clients to report issues and see if others are having issues etc.

Golden spoon?

Its called a Silver Spoon, which refers to someones wealth/privelage. Don't quite get where you're going with that. And if other large ISP's can have support threads, why not Axxess? Its not an unreasonable request.

Axxess website has a status section for your personal situation,if mine's working or not working i can see the status there.
Why should I goto an online forum to find out there's am issue? Report it directly with the isp.
If you read the support threads it's a handful of regular complainers hogging the spotlight instead of changing service providers.

Actually if you bothered to read the support threads there are plenty of reasons to post there. Especially when testing and verifying information with more than 1 person.

The support people (afriman/axxess lady) have direct contact with the various departments and engineers. The people in the callcentre do not. They can only escalate a support ticket.

Many problems are not fixed by simply switching ISP's and most of the time, the callcentre peeps are not equipped to run proper tests or analyse results.

You clearly don't know how the network status page works. Anyway, most of us who post on the forum for help, do so because those methods that you're referring to didn't help

Since this new year, getting support via all methods to axxess has been terrible. It's not like we're complaining for no reason, we've tried to get help via the support emails etc. I agree that Axxess should have a support thread on mybroadband
