Axxess, terrible service

Hi

Been an Axxess client since 2016, and decided to upgrade to Fibre, ordered and paid for the router delivery, and fibre is being installed tomorrow. Odd no router has arrived. Contacted Axxess via web chat only to now be told there is no stock of routers and new stock might arrive end of the week. This is terrible service, and I am thinking about cancelling the whole deal. Money taken from my account, but no one can email me and say there is a stock problem. Really irritated and pissed off.

you can easily use your own router ( check if your current adsl router supports a wan connection)

if not trenched / active ethernet ( i think the term is), get the pppoe details and set it up yourself, much better than using the generally supplied stuff

I know I can use my own router, but it's the principle. Money was taken off my account for delivery, their site shows no stock issues, but now they claim there are no routers. No communication at all. With so much competition in the ISP space one would expect far better service.
