Has anyone heard whether axxess are going to join in the uncapped revolution or are they going to stick to their over priced offerings?
I would hate to see them fade out but I cannot justify supporting them unless they get with the program.
With even telkom indicationg a move in the right direction I would hate to see the great service i have recieved from axxess be rewarded with an undercemonial cheers bud
Vernon is not going to save you. My guess is you hope you have until month end before people start realigning themselves to the new order.
Frankly i would not know what to do with uncapped anyway to be honest, but having been capped many times in the past i cannot over look the mweb deal, 200 bucks plus minus and I never have to worry about a cap again.

I really can't see how people have not cancelled their axxess express accounts or the openweb after hours account .Right now, as the market stands, it is just extremely overprice for what is essentially, an after-hours ONLY account as it really can not be used as a ADSL account during the day with it's less than 20kB/s performance .Yes, you may not get full speed on torrents and NZB's from 7:05 pm to 9:00 am on MWEB (You will get pretty close though) but you get "full access" during the day to http which really can not be said for axxess unless they get rid of that useless threshold and only implement for day time use , meaning only what happens during the day counts towards your threshold and not after hours usage.

Depends if you are one of the 800gb downloaders then these cheap uncapped are not for you, if you can live with 200gb then move already. Most pirating protocols don't run during peak hours but at night they run lekka :D.

I am sure Axxess will come to the party - it will make business sense.

As to moving to another ISP - NO WAYS!! The one thing that worries me about these other ISP's is their usage policies. I use Newsbin Pro and queue all my downloads - that way I can continue to do other work or browse. Who are they to tell me not to queue my downloads!! CR@P!!:mad: I pay for my usage so WTF!!

Axxess have never said anything about usage and I think they know that just about all their customers are big users. Whats more the service I have received up until this point in time has always been great. The service has been stable and worth the R999 I pay them. I will wait until they make a change - just a matter of time. ;)

what makes you think they will?, when asked their reply is normally were looking into it, or soon (a year ago), so if you happen to use more than 200gb then unfortunately axxess at R1000 is the only option, and thats why they wont budge

Put yourself in their shoes - won't it make business sense to go with the flow - keep the customers in mind. Basic business principles. I have not seen their figures but I would think that they will not be able to run their business on the Uncapped packages alone. So, change will take place. I could be wrong, but I am willing to put my money on them making a change soon. Only time will tell!!

you forget that some people are not home during the peak times so actually having full speed access to http at that time is moot.
