Axxess Usage Policy update

Cape Town before December holidays.
Seems like the people at axxess were kind enough to change their usage policy on their business uncapped accounts. It used to explicitly state that the service was unshaped and you could use how much you want, but now they have changed the policy with no notice whatsoever and made it a managed service. the only reason I took the account was because it was unshaped but since they want to be stupid and change how they manage their accounts looks like I'm going to be leaving

Suggestions for ISP's been with axxess for a while and don't know which ones are good anymore...

You can be sure whatever the change is/was it is the same on Afrihost. Even their errors run in parallel.

Actually two separate companies with different management. They both work on the MTN backhaul (still Telkom last mile). So MTN owns Afrihost who owns Axxess.
 
No point in discussing how bad Afrihost or Axxess is, not going to go with any of them, I need more suggestions though...I would have gone with Crystalweb but seems they are also having capacity issues...
 
Im with Crystalweb after moving from a capped account from AH to a home premium uncapped at crystalweb and it is a huge difference, I don't regret it a bit.

in the western cape on home capped products. Home Uncapped premium is A+ though

from what I've seen and heard, yea, best of the best is business premium capped

CW Business Capped rocks ! I know, as I have it.... but I don't download, I am a streamer :D

Ask CW for a test account, which runs on the business capped tier.... you won't be disappointed ! :D
 
anyones account limited to 4mbps?

i got 10mb business and it refuse to go over 4mbps
other accounts work fine
 
I'm giving this new policy a try next month and cancel if i cannot download full line speed during the day, heading back to capped account :)
