You guys seen the Axxess.co.za poll?

How did you find us?

Search Engine: 11%
MyADSL Forums: 61%
Newspaper Advert: 4%
Radio Advert: 0%
TV Advert: 7%
Friend referred me: 14%

 61%!

When it comes to the internet, I think MyADSL is now the most powerful form of marketing in SA :)

i wonder if those AXXESS dudes would care to come comment here?
Would be interesting to see what they have to say!
I'm loving their 30gb package

Actually looking at the stats again, you could say 75% was from word-of-mouth since the chance of somebody being reffered to by MyASDL forumite would be 72% (61/84).

Are axxess any good?
The bandwidth price is reasonable but speed/reliability?

If you have a look around, you'll notice it's stated everywhere that these are SAIX accounts - hence the performance of these accounts is exactly the same as any other ISP out there.

Its just a bigger account, no difference except for the size.

I got email back from one of the guys that run axxess and they assured me the accounts for the 10/20/30 gig packages are identical to what you'll get via any ISP.

The uncapped is obviously not - and they do make it clear that this is the case.

All in all, I like these guys honesty and will most likely switch to them soon.

Admittedly I haven't been keeping up to date with the ADSL discussions here, but it does seem these guys have some vision since they are not insisting on contracts, and I keep hearing about Axxess over in the iBurst forum...

BTW after reading this thread I went to the Axxess site for the first time ever and cast my vote for the MyADSL option...:D

Why is this stickied?
There are other ISPs with the same offers?

Yes, but none of the have such a positive effect .... Affordable + reliable +(super-)efficient service + No Contracts, are the order of the day in this pit full of snakes we call broadband offerings ... very few ISP are willing set an example and make a change and Axxess is one of them .... ;)

I subscribed with Axxess today. I think it is the best choice. A known company and already quite some years on the market.

aint nothing wrong with imaginet either though; they been around 9 years, and been an ISP since the early days. i've used them for my dial up, and they are really excellent on the service front. that's what counts, the service you get.
