Hi,

I've installed Azareus on my machine (I use ubuntu Linux if that helps anyone) I would like to know how to configure my Azareus client. Usually when I open a torrent I can download it, provided that I don't mind if it takes a couple of days. I downloaded about 700Mb over the last week and half with three torrents. They all finished correctly.

This seems a bit slow. In the azareus client itself the network test fails with a NAT error. I am connected to the iburst modem directly, not through a NAT box. So where is this NAT error coming from? Please also note that I did this without the firewall running, so no firewall on my side is blocking packets coming through.

Some help would be appreciated.

The NAT error could be coming from a firewall installed within ubuntu itsself. I also get the NAT error, but I am going throu a dedicated Firewall machine(ipcop). I have however fowarded the ports correctly and when actually downloading torrents my health goes to green which mean's ppl CAN connect to me and all is cool, but when i run that setup wizard thingy it gives me the NAT error thing. I get the same results in both WinXP and Ubuntu hoary... Do your torrent's health ever go to green?? Are you using a nice random port like 25658.... I think the speed issues you are experencing are just WBS's shaping system...
