Azure web apps & VMs for Cape Town?

I'm trying out the Azure platform (free tier) for some dev projects but I cannot find the South Africa (West) region (i.e. Cape Town) anywhere when creating a new web app or VM.

According to their site it should be supported but it only lists South Africa (North) when I'm creating it.

Checking https://status.azure.com/en-us/status shows everything operational too, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Anyone have any idea?

Thanks, I had thought maybe it's this but I cannot find anything confirming it.

Just be careful, their "free" tier doesn't include the storage usage from my experience for the South African region so it's not going to be free at all even if they say it is. It's got something to do with the type of storage that they offer for their free tier products and what type of storage is actually available in the South Africa region.
