Hey guys (and girls)
I have changed my netgear into modem only mode so we can all use our separate accounts at home. Just one problem.
My Connection does not disconnect but it will stop receiving packets. This happens after around 10 - 30 minutes after connection has been established. It’s very odd and as far as I know the other pcs are not having this problem. I am not running any firewalls or anything just to see if that is the problem (its not) If I disconnect from the connection manually it will not connect, stating that the connection cannot reach the host computer.
Would it maybe be easier to get a normal wireless modem (no router) and run it separately downstairs for me alone on the same adsl line? The other two people can have their settings stored in the router for them to use. I don’t even know if this is possible.
Any advice would be great.
