Yes it might be illegal for ISPs to 'monitor' what you do on the interwebs, but this ain't monitoring and the ISPs themselves sure ain't doing it. These are 3rd party idiots 'catching' you in the act of sharing copyrighted materials and just forwarding your ISP an abuse complaint. The ISP got no choice but to forward it to you.
