Just wanted to find out if these systems are really worth the price that is being charged for them?

Having said that I am looking for a nice power full sound system, something that can possible work with WIFI(not sure if there are systems that can work with WIFI), Bluethooth, etc

Please advice of complete system I can buy(Best value for money) and the shop or link would be nice. My budget is R15-17000 max.

Thanks!

R17,000.00 a reciever - or speakers / sub too?

I'm blocked from going on certain sites here at work - but I do believe they're worth it.

I would - however - add both Onkyo and Yamaha in the list of amplifiers.
B&W are very nice speakers too

I'm not sure if the stick is available or if the special is still running, but http://www.remedytec.co.za/Home/Promotions/YamahaRXV767PROMO/tabid/16182/Default.aspx

Awesome amplifier and you can sell the Blu Ray player if you want. That gives you between R8,000.00-R10,000.00 for a speaker set

I purchased a Yamaha amp and B&W speakers which came to R21k. Best investment I've made regarding my home entertainment.

Have a look at Denon there are a few models that can take an Ethernet connection, they have also developed an iPhone App for the receiver and it supports Apple AirPlay

Home Theater. What is the difference if it is stereo? I just want system for movies/music and gaming.

I think he meant if it's stereo, you're dividing the price with only two speakers as opposed to 5

Those specific models (AVR3311/4311) cost in excess of R25k+ just for the receiver

Sounds good.

They had a deal on a while ago with the 767 and Yamaha BR player at R9,000.00 at http://www.remedytec.co.za/

R50k though...

I bought this special about two weeks ago. Love it! Lots of features for the price compared to NAD, etc. Also a lot cheaper than AudioVision, etc. Saw the bluray player at AV for R4k! And the remedytec ppl were excellent, really good service.
