I just want to know if anyone is using their uncapped account or heard anything about it. They have the Seacom backbone and I cant seem to find any info on Seacoms speeds or theirs. Mainly, I want to know how fast their download speed is on torrents etc.

Also I was looking at MyISP seeing that they are so cheap but I am sure they are heavily shaped.

This is all basic IS uncapped accounts. So b2e is actually ripping you off cause the accounts retail for R499 for the 4096k and R199 for the 384k

Are you sure its IS because this thread: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?223481-The-Uncapped-Price-List , says its backbone is Seacom.

Yes I'm sure its IS bandwidth. And just a Not. The IS Basic Uncapped Accounts ALL run from seacom bandwidth. So its nothing new. When there is a problem with seacom. You will notice that Mweb and IS basic uncapped accounts are down with international.

So while other ISP's call it Basic IS Uncapped they decided to call it Seacom bandwidth. Its actually incorrect. Cause its supplied by IS. So its false advertising!

Thanks for the help, in that case I think I will just play it safe and go with MWeb.

You will definitely get more bandwidth with Mweb.

The IS account is MUCH more shaped no matter where you get it from. I tried Axxess and PluGG.co.za and both are equally shaped. However that being said. You will still be able to get quite a large amount of data with the IS uncapped account too. If you download 24/7 you would be able to easily reach 200GB+ a month. In 7 days I was able to get 50Gb easily without the need to download 24/7.

So if you want good speeds and a lot of bandwidth. Mweb is the way to go.
If you want slow-good speed [depends each day] and pay cheap. You can get a IS uncapped account.

I Phoned them, they claim to also using Mweb bandwidth for their solution.
