Hey guys.

So I cannot seem to get this to work at all. I have connected a B315 to my fathers PC that runs XP. It has to run XP due to a specific program he uses that hasn't been updated for newer versions. Also, he is 77 and honestly can't upgrade.

Can someone please run me through how to connect via ethernet (Software side of setup), as there is no WiFi card in the machine.

At the moment he is using an older Telkom MiFi device through USB that works okay. It's just not 4G (our area magically has 4G but very little 3G coverage). I have a spare B315 that I want to give him so he can send emails.

Or if you can point me to a tutorial online?

put the sim card in the b315
reset the b315 at the pin hole next to the power input at the back, hold it in for a few seconds till an indicator light flashes on the front.
connect the pc and b315 with an ethernet cable.
make sure windows xp is set to dhcp

the b315 should connect and internet should work. if it doesnt the b315 might need apn settings or the xp pc has something causing network card problems.
