I have a B550 Auros Elite M/B.
I am too old for RGB but have used RGB Fusion for the past year or so to turn all the case lights a uniform light blue. RGB Fusion recently started acting up and all the issues/warnings in Event Viewer relates to it. I uninstalled and re-installed the latest version which resolved the issues for about a week and then it started again. Most recently the PC just started freezing up, not even Task Manager via ctrl+alt+del works. The PC is only used for work (B550 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 32GB 3600 DDR4 / RTX2070S) and I have not played a game in over a year. I basically just run MS apps (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

Without RGB Fusion the case fans are a ghastly orange and the Aorus RTX2070S' lights are completely off.

Is there anyway to control the lights via hardware rather than software? I just a uniform colour incl the GPU.

Anyone else using RGB Fusion - experiences?

Thanks

RGB Fusion is complete trash, I hate it. Not sure about your board, but some let you control it in the BIOS.

This might solve your problem

I follow Bitwit. I managed to trace my problem to RGB Fusion. The Bitwit video came out just after that and it was really a good one. I did have Patriot installed as part of RGB Fusion and uninstalling it based on the Bitwit video and that solved my issues - at the time.

I still have nagging freezes. I have an Aorus GPU and you need Aorus Engine to manage the GPU fans and RGB Fusion installs as part of that (with Patriot sneaking in).

Can you not set the colours to how you want them & then uninstall the program?
I did this with my Aurous B550 ITX

I did try that.
As soon as you restart the PC it resets back to orange. I read the B550 Elite manual this morning over coffee hoping for a hardware/BIOS option to set the colours but no luck - it is all software driven.

MSI Afterburner?
I'll try that. At least just to get the GPU fans controlled.

I tried a few open source RGB software options yesterday but none picked up the fans/ram/GPU. Seems like Gigabyte has it locked down tighter than Barbie's butt hole.
