I'm currently using a B315 and have been getting terrible speeds on rain, ever since I first got it last year (R250 unlimited off-peak), and thinking of upgrading to the B618 and hoping it will improve the speed.

What would be better to get for the rain network between the "22d" or the "65d", and could anyone recommend an external antenna that would be compatable with a B618?

Thanks

22d for Rain.
Plenty op people are experiencing bad speeds on Rain as of late, so maybe try to get a router to test, before throwing your money away.

I'm not very familiar with signal stats, so just wondering, would the below be considered good, bad or average?

RSRQ:-13dB
RSRP:-103dBm
RSSI:-77dBm

That RSRP is on the edge of the cell tower range. I would recommend you get an external antenna and point it to your nearest rain tower. A new router would likely not give you a massive increase if any.

Ah ok, my thinking was that the MiMo tech in the B618 might help, but sounds like an external antenna will be best starting point.

Any particular antenna you would recommend for the rain frequency bands? (I'm hoping one of the antenna's on takealot will be ok, as its the most convenient)
