Hi Guys

I recently got a B683 Router. The manual that comes with it sucks and the web administrator page they refer to for answers also sucks..

I have the router not plugged into a computer and only use it to connect my Ipad, laptop, PS3 ect to the internet.

If I connect an external drive to this Ruoter through the USB, how can I access that External from my other devices like my laptop?

Thanks

Under 'Settings', enable 'Samba'. Then click on 'Add' and enter any username and password, initial directory (or leave blank) and whether you want the hard drive to be read/write. Now, it should display on your PC as a network share with the default name as 'B683-SHARE'. You can access it from you devices by connecting to the router IP address (use a file manager like ES File Explorer for android), usually 192.168.1.1 and enter the username and password you entered in the 'Samba' configuration. Now you can access all the files on your hard drive. :)
