Communications Minister Faith Muthambi will be asked by parliament why she authorised new regulations which gave her “sweeping powers” at the SABC, according to a report by the Sunday Times.

“The Department of Communications has been described as a shambles under Muthambi,” stated the report.

When was the Department of Communications not shambled?

Even when Poison Ivy's former deputy minister Roy Padayachie took over as Minister of Communications, he inherited responsibility for a shambled department and while he tried his best to unshamble the DoC he did not have enough time to fully accomplish this mammoth task.

Every minister since then has only managed to transform the "shambles" into a much worse disaster.
