Girls from areas like Mooikloof in Pretoria would act the same way Sandton, Bryanston, Lonehill & Houghton would react.

well slightly off topic I noticed white dudes in Durban generally much shorter than whites dudes from Gauteng.
Generally people in the south are more friendlier than people from the north. What used to catch me out by surprise at how many Afrikaaners speak english with absolutely no Afrikaans accent

Perhaps because Natal is very English, and the British are generally a bit shorter than people from the Netherlands, Germany, Nordic countries where Afrikaans people tend to get genes from.

I would not even say this is a money thing, more a status thing as Sandton is seen as "upper class". Some of my mates even act like they are hoity toity when they in Sandton. Go figure..
