A drifter is a person that moves from place to place. The children drifted off from their families.

Witnessed something interesting yesterday. Traffic police are parked outside a local pub close to the beach. They did not pull one taxi over, stop anyone walking in the road drinking, there were cars parked right next to them where people had the back hatch open serving as a bar, drunk as skunks, making lots of noise & the booze was flowing.
Who did they stop & breathalyse, only white people. Yeah this would be considered racists but all those mentioned above were of native african decent (pre colonialism). Had a chat with the barman & he said they're only going after the money.

I wonder if Penny Sparrow is thinking .... ''thats just the way they are'' 
Was at Vic bay this season , they had officers searching peoples bags for alcohol and confiscating anything they found. On my way out while i was walking to my car the officers combi came driving past , next thing a empty long tom can comes flying out the window, my 5 year old daughter saw this and picked it up to put it in the bin , so not so surprised when people start comparing them to apes.
