Actually, it has worked the other way around. I am much calmer these days (but I can still give it to ABSA!)

Oh and from the looks of my cravings, all my food threads will be about cakes, cookies, tarts, chocolates and candy :D

Congrats!

1st piece of advice - start on your supplements as soon as possible, particularly folic acid. It is absolutely crucial during the first trimester.
2nd piece of advice - get baby in a carseat from day one, nonoptional under any circumstances. And back facing seats are safer than forward-facing, but just get them strapped in. Carrying babies in arms while in a car is criminally negligent imo. For validation, go see some video footage of what happens to unstrapped babies when a car forcefully stops.
3rd piece of advice - antenatal classes are more useful than you would think. You will get help coping with the rough first period of time, and meet parents with children who will be the same age as yours, so future playdate candidates.
