Can anybody recommend a baby swim school in the Sandton/Parkmore/Bryanston Area? We would like to recommend this to a family member. The baby is about 2. We are looking for a friendly and safe environment with the correct accreditation.

If Lonehill is not too far for you, I will get the details from my SO for you.

Drop me a PM.

If you have a swimming pool, teach him/her yourself.

If you don't have a swimming pool, why are you worrying? Are you about to let your baby let loose at someone else's house?

It's a good thing to teach them young and used to water, could potentially prevent a drowning and those things can happen very quickly!

That's a bit short sighted. I would want my kids to learn to swim as soon as possible and I wouldn't leave a young kid unattended by a pool, no matter how many lessons he had had. I suppose that some parents have the opportunity to teach the kids themselves. I think that by going to lessons and seeing other kids there it's more fun and they learn quicker.
