Hi all, I’ve had my Redmi 4A since December 2017 and still enjoying it. I’m not a power user and have had lots of assistance from Phireside

I was playing around with the settings and foolishly got into dual space and only passworded second space. As a result I could only yse my phone by entering the second space password each and every time. This was a real ball ache so did a factory re set. All well now but ask the following:
1 who has used Mi Cloud and is it safe to do so?
2 who has used Mi Account and is this also safe?
3 when apps ask you do let them access your contacts etc, what do you do? I’ve always denied access.
Excuse all these questions but I’m most probably one of the oldest fogies on here.
