I've setup firefox exactly how i like it and was wondering if there is a way to back it up so I can easily install it the way I have it now on other machines.

It's actually very simple... go to C:/Documents and Settings/YourUserName/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/########.Default User/

Note your profile folder will be called something different.

Everything inside there is what you need to back up and/or move to another computer to replicate the Firefox.

On the other computer the profile folder will have a different name.

Just move everything out of there to a backup folder and replace the contents with the folder from your main computer.

It will copy everything, your bookmarks and extensions, and passwords, all.

I love that fact... very easy to do.

Mine is about 15 megs in size... not too bad.

I also reccoment that you either use the Foxmarks Bookmarks Synchronizer or the Google Toolbar Bookmarks to keep your bookmarks synched between your various computers!

Hope that helps!

You can copy your profile folder contents from one machine to the other. I think it resides in
C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\ Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\, where xxxxxxxx is a random string of 8 characters. Everything will be there but some plugins will require a reinstall.

Also look at FEBE, about which:

While you're at it, check out CLEO too:
