I have an unrooted phone. As such, I only have access to the free apps, and the Market doesn't keep track of them when you reflash your phone. You have to manually install them one-by-one. Is there a way to automate this?

I've seen a few solutions, like Astro, that allows you to store apps on your SD card and install them from there, but it doesn't integrate with the Market, so your apps aren't checked for updates, etc.

Doesn't doing a nandbackup and then a restore take care of that?

Looks useful, thanks. However, seems to require I root my phone first, though. Not really wanting to do that right now.

The very first time you go back onto the market after flashing your phone it will have every application you had on previously there.

use the appbrain app to sync your apps....very useful to reinstall all apps if you have an unrooted phone
