Backup whatsapp conversations

Yes whatsapp has a backup feature but it doesn't do it automatically.
Sms backup + used to do it then whatsapp stopped it.
I need it to backup automatically and it's for work. It's very sensitive stuff and needs to be backed up

On both iOS and Windows Phone mine is automatic.

If it's so sensitive you shouldn't be using Whatsapp.

Find some other way of communicating. Skype allows one to save messages to a path of one's choosing.

Android does backup automatically, but only on device, so said backup is useless when your phone is lost or stolen, same goes for IOS and windows mobile. The backups only as good as your attentiveness to store it somewhere useful. While SMS Backup+ did not actually do that, it was useful in giving u off device access to conversations for reference, searchability or other less than legal options, but WhatsApp really need to integrated the backup function with a remote storage option, even if it is on their own server, the files like a few kb anyway.

It stores it on the SD card if you have an SD card inserted. Do you mean Cloud Backups?

Sd card is not remote storage, that's local storage.

You're misinforming the public. iOS devices backup to iCloud. I can't speak for Android users.

Mmmm, I wonder if there isn't a kind of a cron job that could copy the data folder to your Google drive.

He only way to back it up to gmail now is by manually doing it.
I can't find any automated way of doing it anymore.
It's pretty retarded.
Why not just have a setting to auto backup to your e mail ?
