I don't know what was wrong with me today I drove my car with the hand brake on, it was like for 5 seconds and the bell rang that I'm driving with the hand brake. As if things could not get worse while standing I pressed the clutch and accelerate at same time unaware.

Could those things have damaged my car I'm bit worried I really abused my car today.

Sounds like you are driving a Subaru

It should be ok as long as you don't drive like that all the time.

I would definately take it to the agents. That bell that sounded is the ECU warning you that serious damage has been caused. Drive slowly to the agents with your hazards on. According to my owners manual hooting every 30 seconds while driving with the hazards on will help lessen any further damages.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune OP. Good luck.

Lol Hahahahaha you so funny only fool's will follow your advice. In my culture we normally do that when the is a death in the family, Friday after around 17:00 I go to the mortuary to fetch the decease. When I'm near the deceased home I should be driving in front of the hearse, I drive slow, hoot the bell and hazards on.

I'm yet to see any woman that don't drive with their hand brake on.

Hahahahaha I'm not a woman I'm more worried about my clutch, I once asked how much is a clutch for my car they said close to R10 000. If the clutch is going to give up does it give out signs.

My Old car came in at roughly R46k for the clutch.

Are you serious yoh this is my first car so I don't know much about car parts. I thought clutch are cheap so I thought Honda was just being Honda when I once heard them say clutch for my car is R10 000.

Like I said I don't know much about car parts, clutch is a part of wear and tear normally its not cover by some warranties when you extend your car warranty. So meaning if your clutch is R46 000 your will pay it out of your pocket. I read somewhere some clutch normally the clutch give up after 100 000 km. Correct me if I'm wrong please..

R10000 is very expensive, especially for a Brio, problem is the chances of finding the clutch kit anywhere else besides Honda is very low, my colleague struggled to get one for a Jazz until he relented and played a fortune at Honda.

Easy to see if your clutch is damaged, you need to take precautions because I feel that the Brio is one of those cars which will just give up on you without any warning. I drove with mine on a Corsa lite for two weeks before I took it to the work shop, but on my 1.0 l Yaris the car just died on me on the road and could not go further, no grace period , nothing it just died like that.

Clutching at straws here. From your opening post you were simply revving the car ? Clutches don't go that easily. Did you smell anything ?

.

From his opening post, not just accelerating.

That won't do anything to the clutch, it will simply rev the motor higher, minimal damage. On the other hand if you had to tow a truck and rev your engine beyond glory and not moving.. then yes your clutch will be fooooked soon.
